Colonoscopy Preparations
The colonoscopy preparations include Colyte, PegLyte and Bi-Peglyte brands. Colyte and PegLyte are gastrointestinal lavage preparations used for bowel cleansing prior to colonoscopy or barium enema X-ray examination or surgical procedures requiring a clean colon. They are also indicated for the treatment of constipation. Bi-Peglyte is a gastrointestinal lavage kit indicated for the cleansing of the colon as a preparation for colonoscopy in adults.
