Each enteric coated tablet contains 500 mg Acetylsalicylic Acid (ASA).
NOT A STANDARD DOSE UNIT
ADULT DOSAGE :1 tablet (or 2 tablets on the advice of a doctor only) every 4 to 6 hours, as required. DO NOT EXCEED 4g ASA (8 tablets) per day.
CAUTION : There is sufficient drug in this package to seriously harm a child. Although this is a child-resistant package, store in a safe place out of reach of children. It is hazardous to exceed maximum recommended dose unless advised by a doctor.
DO NOT ADMINISTER to children or teenagers who have chicken pox or flu symptoms, before a doctor or pharmacist is consulted about Reye’s Syndrome, a rare and serious illness. Consult a doctor before taking this drug during the last 3 months of pregnancy, or when breast-feeding and/or if the underlying condition requires continued use for more than 5 days.
