A FACTOR IN PREVENTION OF DENTAL CARIES

Each chewable tablet contains 1.0 mg of Fluoride ion (total concentration of combined Sodium Fluoride is 2.21 mg) in a specially formulated vehicle containing the non-medicinal ingredient Xylitol, a non-cavity promoting sweetener.

Usual Daily Dose : Dosage depends on age of child and concentration of Fluoride in drinking water, see chart below :

Recommended tablet(s) to be chewed slowly after brushing.

To avoid having to split tablets consider selecting a lower strength Fluor-a-day® tablet or drops.

For your convenience, Fluor-a-day is available in three concentration levels.  Fluor-a-day 1.0 mg Fluoride (Blue label – plane shaped tablet), Fluor-a-day 0.5 mg Fluoride (Red label – car-shaped tablet) and Fluor-a-day 0.25 mg Fluoride (Green label – train-shaped tablet).

Fluor-a-day is also available in drops.  The drops are flavourless and odourless, and can be added to any food or liquid, except milk.  Two drops will deliver 0.25 mg of Fluoride ion.

NON-MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS :  Cherry flavour, Magnesium Stearate, Raspberry flavour, Sorbitol, Xylitol.

WARNING :  The use of Fluoride supplements is not recommended where community drinking water contains 0.7 ppm or more of Fluoride or in artificially fluoridated water as mottling of the teeth enamel may result.
